Meirion James Trow is quite a handle to appear on a dustjacket or anywhere at all, come to that, so I write as M J Trow to avoid embarrassment in bookshops. The Christian name is shortened to 'Mei' (pronounced 'My'). I went to Warwick School (See Maxwell's Reunion!), followed by a History Honours Course at King's, London and a teaching qualification at Jesus, Cambridge. For more years than I care to remember, I taught History and Politics at the chalk face (see the entire Maxwell series!) before getting on to the more serious side of full time writing, lecturing and tv appearances. 'While whirling from ballroom to bar-room' (see reviews) I married Carol, whom I had known almost all my life. She is now a writer in her own right and the inspiration of almost all that I do. We have a son, Tali, who as well as being a professional musician with his own recording studio, Coach-house Records, in London, is also a writer and has collaborated with me on a number of books.
This website is still under construction!!
If you don't see what you need right now, please come back - it should be all done and dusted by 5 February 2010.
